This course will look at necessary writing skills for social workers to have in writing an effective case note and treatment plans. It will explore how the NASW Code of Ethics guides us in this area. Relevant sections of the Michigan Compiled Laws and Public Health Code will be shared.
Objectives:
As a result of this course, participants will be prepared to:
Participants will gain an increased understanding of the role of ethics in writing case notes and treatment plans utilizing the NASW Code of Ethics.
Participants will gain knowledge on relevant sections of the Public Health Code that guides us in writing effective case notes and treatment plans.
